CH Rabbithunter Rocco van Grunsven of Bassefied, 3 years old
In October 2015 Rocco joined our family, as an adult dog, from the van Grunsven kennel in Holland.   Rocco is a beautiful example of true basset hound type and character, as required by the breed standard.  He is a well-balanced hound of considerable substance, full of quality, with a noble expression.  His temperament is breed typical, an affectionate and loving boy.  And his movement is effortless and smooth, yet powerful - a basset hound build for purpose!  He joined the Bassefied show team in October 2015.

Special achievements:
  • Rocco became a South African Champion in April 2016.
  • Rocco qualified for the prestigious Western Cape Top Dog invitational event in 2016.
Rocco is retired from showing and breeding.
